15.36kWh 12kW Off Grid Energy Storage System With Pure Sine Wave Output
15.36kWh 12kW Off Grid Energy Storage System with Pure Sine Wave Output
This off grid energy storage system combines a 15.36kWh LiFePO4 battery with a 12kW pure sine wave inverter and dual MPPT solar charging. It is suited to projects that require substantial output power but can manage daily energy use within a compact battery reserve.
The system can supply selected loads at remote homes, farm buildings, workshops and service locations while charging from solar energy during the day. A compatible utility or generator source can provide recovery charging when sunlight is insufficient.
Build the System Around Essential Loads
The 12kW inverter can support a relatively high combined load, but the 15.36kWh battery determines how long those loads can operate. Running the full inverter output for an extended period would use the available battery energy quickly.
For better off-grid performance, separate equipment into essential and flexible groups. Refrigeration, lighting, communications and security equipment may remain available, while tools, pumps and other controllable loads can be scheduled around solar production.
Collect Energy through Two Solar Inputs
Two PV input channels allow the solar array to be divided into separate strings. Each channel is listed at up to 5000W and 18A, with an MPPT operating range of 60–500Vdc.
Daily solar production should be sufficient to operate daytime loads and restore the battery energy used overnight. Actual production depends on sunlight, temperature, shade and panel orientation.
When solar production is limited, AC charging can be supplied from a compatible generator or utility source. Charging settings should remain within the battery limits.
Manage Startup Loads and Output Channels
The inverter provides 12kW rated output and 22000VA instantaneous power. Pumps, compressors, refrigerators and motor-driven tools should still be checked for normal and startup demand.
Dual AC outputs help separate priority circuits from flexible equipment. When both channels are used, each channel is listed at up to 6kW while the combined system output remains 12kW.
This configuration does not support grid export. It is intended to store energy and supply local loads.

15.36kWh Off-Grid System FAQ
Can the system work without utility power?
Yes, when the battery, solar array and load profile are correctly matched to the site.
Is 15.36kWh enough for overnight use?
That depends on the total overnight watt-hour consumption and the battery reserve retained by the system.
Can a generator charge the battery?
A compatible generator may be used when its voltage, frequency and continuous output meet the AC input requirements.
Can it operate a pump or compressor?
Possibly, but both running power and startup demand must be checked before selection.
What should be sent for an off-grid assessment?
Provide the 24-hour load schedule, peak power, motor startup demand, sunlight conditions and proposed solar array.
