Product Description

15.36kWh 51.2V 300Ah Home Energy Storage Battery with CAN RS485 and WiFi

This home energy storage battery provides 15.36kWh of nominal LiFePO4 energy from a 51.2V 300Ah configuration. It is intended for compatible residential solar, backup and off-grid systems that require a larger single-battery energy reserve.

Optional CAN, RS485 and WiFi interfaces support different inverter-integration and monitoring requirements. The exact communication function depends on the ordered configuration, supported protocol, inverter firmware and monitoring platform.

Build the Residential Energy Budget

A 15.36kWh home battery may suit residences that need a larger energy reserve than a standard 5kWh or 10kWh system. The correct selection still depends on the daily load schedule and required operating period.

Start by separating the household consumption into essential, flexible and high-consumption loads. This creates a more realistic backup plan than assuming every circuit will operate continuously.

Essential Energy

Calculate lighting, refrigeration, communication and security equipment from average power and required operating time.

Flexible Energy

Identify appliances that may be scheduled during periods of stronger solar generation or lower household demand.

Restricted Backup Loads

Large air conditioners, electric heating and cooking equipment may require load management to preserve backup time.

Plan How the Battery Will Be Recharged

Battery sizing should include both discharge and recharge calculations. A larger battery may provide a longer energy reserve, but the available solar array, utility charger or generator must also restore the used energy within the required time.

The battery supports up to 200A continuous charging. This is the maximum battery limit, not a requirement to charge at 200A. Actual charging current can be lower according to the inverter charger and available energy source.

The charging equipment must support the 40.0–58.4Vdc battery operating range and the listed 56.0V floating-charge setting.

Check the Maximum Household Power Demand

The maximum continuous discharge rating is 200A. The inverter’s battery-side current must remain within this limit at the lowest expected battery voltage and highest planned household output.

The battery also lists a 300A pulse capability for one second. It may provide temporary headroom for a compatible short startup event, but it must not be treated as continuous output.

Battery energy and inverter power remain separate. A 15.36kWh battery does not automatically permit every inverter size or every household load combination.

Choose the Required Communication Method

Optional CAN or RS485 communication may allow supported battery data to be exchanged with a compatible hybrid or off-grid inverter. Protocol compatibility should be checked before production.

Optional WiFi may support network-based functions in the selected configuration. The exact platform, displayed data and connection requirements should be confirmed for the project.

An optional LCD can provide supported local battery information during commissioning and routine checks.

The IP20 battery requires a dry indoor technical area with stable floor support, suitable cable access and protection from condensation.

15.36kWh Home Storage FAQ

Is 15.36kWh suitable for whole-home backup?

Suitability depends on the household load schedule, inverter power, startup demand and required backup duration.

Does the battery need a 200A charger?

No. The 200A value is the maximum continuous battery limit. A lower compatible charging current may be used.

Are CAN RS485 and WiFi included automatically?

They are listed as optional interfaces and should be confirmed when the ordered configuration is specified.

Can WiFi replace CAN communication with the inverter?

Not automatically. WiFi and inverter battery communication can serve different functions depending on the configuration.

What information is needed for residential system design?

Provide the daily load schedule, backup target, inverter model, solar-array size, charging source and communication requirements.
