Product Description

10.24kWh 51.2V 200Ah Residential LiFePO4 Battery with CAN RS485 Communication

This residential LiFePO4 battery provides 10.24kWh of nominal energy from a 51.2V 200Ah configuration. It is designed as the battery-storage section of a compatible home solar, backup or off-grid energy system.

Optional CAN, RS485 and WiFi interfaces support different residential integration requirements when the selected inverter, communication protocol, firmware and cable definition are compatible. An optional LCD can provide supported local battery information.

Define the Home Backup Scope First

A 10.24kWh home battery should be selected from the actual household load schedule rather than from the inverter rating alone. The first step is deciding which circuits must remain available during a grid interruption or off-grid operating period.

Priority Circuits

Lighting, refrigeration, routers, communication equipment and security systems can be grouped according to required operating hours.

Intermittent Loads

Pumps, refrigerators and motor-driven appliances should be calculated using both operating time and startup demand.

Load Management

Heating, cooking equipment and large air conditioners may need to be separated when longer backup duration is required.

Nominal Energy and Available AC Energy

The 10.24kWh rating represents nominal stored DC energy. The energy available to household AC equipment will be lower after inverter conversion efficiency, battery reserve settings, cable losses and operating temperature are considered.

Battery capacity and inverter output are different design values. The battery determines the stored-energy reserve, while the inverter determines how much AC power can be supplied at one time.

Hybrid Inverter Compatibility

The connected inverter must support a nominal 51.2V LiFePO4 battery and the complete 40.0–58.4Vdc operating window. Its charging profile should support the listed 56.0V floating-charge voltage.

Continuous charging current should remain at or below 100A. The battery supports up to 200A of continuous discharge, so the inverter’s maximum battery-side demand must remain within this limit.

The listed 300A pulse value applies for one second only. It may provide temporary current headroom for a compatible brief demand, but it is not a continuous household-load rating.

CAN RS485 and WiFi Options

CAN or RS485 communication may allow supported battery data to be exchanged with a compatible inverter. A matching physical port does not guarantee communication unless the protocol, cable pin definition and firmware also match.

WiFi is listed as an optional interface. The exact monitoring functions and platform requirements depend on the ordered configuration and should be confirmed before production.

The IP20 battery requires a dry indoor location with stable floor support, no condensation and suitable access to the inverter and DC protection equipment.

10.24kWh Residential Battery FAQ

Is this a complete home energy storage system?

No. It is the battery section. A compatible inverter, charging source, DC protection and household distribution design are required separately.

Will CAN or RS485 work with every inverter?

No. The inverter protocol, firmware, cable definition and equipment settings must be compatible.

Is WiFi included as standard?

No. WiFi is listed as an optional communication interface and should be confirmed with the ordered configuration.

Can it power all household appliances simultaneously?

That depends on the inverter output rating, simultaneous load, startup demand and battery-side current.

What data is needed for home battery sizing?

Provide the load list, required backup hours, inverter model, solar-array size and preferred communication method.
