Protected Lithium Battery for Compatible Inverter Systems

This 51.2V 50Ah wall mounted lithium battery is designed for compatible solar inverters, residential backup systems and compact energy-storage installations. Its nominal battery energy is 2.56kWh, based on a 51.2V platform and 50Ah rated capacity.

The integrated battery-management system includes protection functions for overcharge, overdischarge, overcurrent, short-circuit and overtemperature conditions. These functions help manage the battery within its documented electrical and environmental operating limits.

Optional CAN and RS485 ports are available for compatible inverter communication. An optional LCD can also provide local access to available battery information at the installation site.

Communication and Inverter Compatibility Planning

The presence of CAN or RS485 ports does not mean that the battery can communicate with every inverter. Both devices must use a compatible protocol, correct cable pin assignment and suitable software settings.

When communication compatibility is not confirmed, installers should not assume that automatic charging control, state-of-charge reporting or battery alarms will be exchanged with the inverter.

The inverter must operate within the battery’s 40.0–58.4Vdc voltage range and support the listed 56.0V floating-charge voltage. The maximum continuous charging current should be limited to 25A.

Continuous discharge is limited to 50A. The 75A rating is a one-second pulse specification and should not be used as the continuous-current value when selecting the inverter, cables or protective devices.

Communication ports and the LCD are listed as optional. The required hardware configuration and inverter protocol should be confirmed before the purchase order is finalized.
