Flexible Battery Charging for Compact Backup Systems
This compact 1.2kW solar inverter is designed around a 12.8V battery platform and supports both lithium and lead-acid battery systems. It combines MPPT photovoltaic charging, AC charging, pure sine wave output and battery activation functions in one unit.
The photovoltaic charger provides up to 60A, while the AC charger also provides up to 60A. The listed maximum combined charging current is 120A, allowing faster battery recovery when suitable solar and utility sources are available.
This version is positioned for battery dealers, solar distributors and installers who require a small inverter platform with flexible battery compatibility, a compact enclosure and clear LCD operating information.

Charging Current and Battery Sizing

The battery specification includes a 14V floating-charge voltage and 14.6V overcharge-protection voltage. Final settings must follow the selected battery chemistry and the battery supplier’s technical requirements.
Battery energy capacity should be selected according to the required backup duration. The inverter can provide up to 1.2kW continuously, but a small battery may not sustain higher loads for an extended period.
The 120A value is the listed maximum combined photovoltaic and AC charging current. Actual charging performance depends on the available sources, battery condition and configured current limits.
