14.34kWh 51.2V 280Ah Tower LiFePO4 Battery with 200A Charge and Discharge

This floor standing lithium battery combines a 51.2V nominal voltage, 280Ah rated capacity and 14336Wh of nominal LiFePO4 energy in one freestanding tower enclosure. It is designed for projects that require a larger battery module without using multiple small wall-mounted or rack-mounted battery cases.

The tower measures 800 × 450 × 286mm and weighs 118kg net. Its mechanical format makes floor loading, equipment-room access, cable routing and service clearance important parts of the selection process.

Installation Profile of the Tower Battery

Unlike a wall-mounted battery, this unit transfers its weight directly to the supporting floor. The selected location should provide a stable and level base, sufficient space for the enclosure and practical access to the battery terminals and protection devices.

Floor Load Planning

The installation area must support the 118kg battery weight together with any base, cable support or protective enclosure used at the site.

Wall Clearance and Access

The tower can be positioned near a wall when cable access, ventilation space and maintenance clearance remain available.

Delivery Route

Doorways, corridors, lifts and handling equipment should accommodate the 980 × 540 × 376mm shipping package and 132kg gross weight.

Designing the 200A DC Current Path

The battery supports up to 200A of continuous charging and 200A of continuous discharge. These are maximum battery limits rather than required operating values. The final current settings may be lower according to the inverter, charger and project requirements.

The complete DC path includes the M8 terminals, cable lugs, battery cables, fuse or breaker, disconnect device and inverter terminals. Every component must be suitable for the configured current, cable length and installation method.

A pulse-discharge current of 300A is listed for one second. This value should not be treated as continuous output and should not be used as the normal cable or breaker rating.

Voltage Settings and Equipment Matching

The connected inverter or charger must support a nominal 51.2V lithium battery and operate within the complete 40.0–58.4Vdc battery voltage range. The charging profile should also support the listed 56.0V floating-charge voltage.

Battery energy and inverter output power should be evaluated separately. The 14.336kWh rating represents nominal stored DC energy, while the inverter determines the maximum available AC output and the types of loads that can operate together.

The IP20 enclosure requires a dry indoor technical area protected from rain, condensation, direct sunlight, excessive dust and nearby heat sources.

Floor Standing Battery FAQ

Does the battery require wall mounting?

No. It is a freestanding tower battery, but its position should still prevent movement and maintain cable and service access.

Can it continuously charge and discharge at 200A?

Those are the listed maximum continuous limits. Final current settings must also remain within the connected equipment and DC component ratings.

Can the 300A value be used for cable sizing?

No. It applies for one second only. Continuous cables and protection should be selected from the planned continuous current.

Is an inverter included inside the tower?

No. This product is a battery. The inverter, DC protection and connection equipment are selected separately.

What site information is needed before ordering?

Provide the installation-space dimensions, floor condition, delivery route, inverter specification and planned cable length.
