Product Description

10.24kWh 25.6V 400Ah Floor Standing LiFePO4 Battery for Solar Backup

Higher Battery Capacity on a 25.6V Platform

This 10.24kWh floor standing LiFePO4 battery combines a 25.6V nominal voltage with a 400Ah rated capacity. It is intended for compatible residential solar, off-grid and backup power systems that need more stored energy while continuing to use a low-voltage battery platform.

The 10240Wh nominal capacity provides twice the stored energy of a 5.12kWh battery. This makes the unit relevant for projects where selected household circuits, refrigeration, communication equipment, lighting or other priority loads need a longer planned backup period.

Its floor-standing enclosure measures 800 × 660 × 139mm and has a listed net weight of 88kg. The slim depth allows the battery to be positioned against a suitable indoor wall while its weight remains supported by the floor rather than relying entirely on wall-mounted hardware.

Where This 10.24kWh Battery Fits

Extended Residential Backup

The larger storage capacity can support a longer backup target than a smaller battery when both systems operate with comparable loads and discharge settings.

Daytime Solar Energy Storage

Compatible solar systems can store available photovoltaic energy for later household use according to the inverter charging and operating configuration.

Low-Voltage Off-Grid Systems

The 25.6V battery platform can be considered for compatible off-grid inverters after voltage range, charging current and DC current demand are verified.

Calculate Storage from Loads and Operating Hours

Battery capacity should be selected from the actual load schedule rather than the inverter power label alone. Each priority appliance should be listed with its normal operating power, startup behavior and expected hours of use.

The full 10.24kWh nameplate value should not be treated as guaranteed AC output energy. Usable energy is affected by the configured discharge limit, inverter conversion efficiency, battery temperature, cable losses and system protection settings.

For example, a system designed around lighting, routers and refrigeration will have a different backup duration from one that also includes pumps, heating equipment or large motor loads. The installer should calculate the average demand rather than relying only on the highest appliance rating.

Inverter and DC Current Matching

The connected inverter must support a nominal 25.6V battery and remain within the battery’s 20.0–29.2Vdc operating range. Its charging profile should also support the listed 28.0V floating-charge voltage.

The maximum continuous charging current is 200A. This is the battery limit rather than a required charging setting. The final value should remain within the inverter charger rating, cable capacity, DC protection rating and project charging requirements.

Continuous discharge is also rated at 200A. The inverter’s maximum battery-side current must be checked against this value. Cable length, conductor cross-section, M8 terminal connection, fuse or breaker capacity and ambient temperature should be included in the design.

The IP20 enclosure is intended for a dry indoor technical location. It should be protected from rain, condensation, direct sunlight, excessive dust and nearby heat sources.

10.24kWh Solar Backup Battery FAQ

Is this a 10kWh or 10.24kWh battery?

Its formal electrical rating is 25.6V and 400Ah, which equals 10240Wh or 10.24kWh of nominal energy.

Can it be used with a 24V-class solar inverter?

It may be used with a compatible inverter after its operating voltage, charging voltage and maximum battery-current requirements are confirmed.

Does the 10.24kWh rating indicate output power?

No. It indicates stored energy. AC output power is determined by the connected inverter and its compatible battery-side current.

Can the battery continuously discharge at 300A?

No. Its continuous discharge rating is 200A. The 300A value applies only to a one-second pulse condition.

Can the unit be installed outdoors?

No outdoor claim should be made. Its IP20 enclosure requires a protected and dry indoor installation location.

Solar Backup Capacity Review

For an accurate battery recommendation, the installer should provide the priority-load list, required operating hours, inverter rating, charging source and available equipment-room space.
