This 51.2V 314Ah rack battery is designed for storage projects where electrical integration, communication and local battery monitoring are central to product selection. It provides 16076Wh of listed nominal LiFePO4 energy together with 200A continuous charge and discharge limits.

The product includes an LCD for supported local operating information. CAN and RS485 communication are optional and should be selected only after the exact inverter protocol and cable requirements have been reviewed.

What 200A Means on the Charge Side

The 200A charging specification is a maximum continuous battery limit. It does not mean the battery must always be charged at 200A. The selected charging current may be lower according to the inverter charger, available solar input, generator capacity or required charging time.

Charging cables, M8 terminals, fuses and disconnect equipment must be selected for the configured current. Long cable runs and undersized conductors can increase voltage drop and heat, even when the battery remains within its current limit.

The 56.0V floating-charge value and complete 40.0–58.4Vdc operating range should be compared with the inverter battery settings before commissioning.

What 200A Means on the Load Side

The inverter’s maximum battery-side current should remain within the 200A continuous discharge rating. The required DC current depends on inverter output power, operating voltage, conversion efficiency and the connected AC load.

The battery also lists 300A pulse discharge for one second. This may provide temporary current headroom for a compatible brief demand, but it must not be treated as a continuous output rating.

Continuous cables, terminals, breakers, fuses and busbars should therefore be designed around the 200A continuous rating and the actual installation conditions.

Communication Path from Order to Commissioning

1. Confirm whether CAN or RS485 communication is required in the ordered battery configuration.

2. Provide the inverter brand, exact model, firmware and supported battery protocol before production.

3. Verify the communication-cable pin definition and inverter battery mode before site commissioning.

A CAN or RS485 connector alone does not confirm compatibility. When communication has not been verified, installers should not assume that state-of-charge data, battery alarms or automatic charging-current control will be exchanged.

LCD and BMS Operating Boundaries

The LCD provides access to supported local battery information and can assist during installation and routine inspection. The exact values shown depend on the battery configuration.

The BMS includes protection for overcharge, overdischarge, overcurrent, short circuit and overtemperature conditions. These functions help keep the battery within its documented limits.

BMS protection does not replace external breakers, fuses, disconnect devices or correctly sized cables. The complete DC system must still be designed for the intended operating current.

The IP20 enclosure requires a dry indoor location. Communication configuration and inverter matching should be completed before the battery is commissioned.

Are CAN and RS485 included in every battery?

No. They are optional interfaces and should be confirmed when the ordered configuration is specified.

Will CAN or RS485 work with any inverter?

No. The communication protocol, inverter firmware, cable pin definition and equipment settings must be compatible.

Must the battery be charged at 200A?

No. The 200A value is the maximum continuous battery limit. A lower current can be selected according to the charger and project requirements.

Can the battery supply 300A continuously?

No. The continuous discharge rating is 200A. The 300A value applies for one second only.
