12kW 15kWh Residential Energy Storage System for Villas with Dual MPPT

High - Output Home Battery System for Villas

This 12kW 15kWh residential energy storage system is designed for villas, larger homes and residential properties that require higher output power with a moderate battery reserve.

Three 5.12kWh LiFePO4 battery modules provide 15.36kWh of rated energy and approximately 13.8kWh of usable storage at 90% depth of discharge. The 12kW pure sine wave inverter provides additional output capacity for homes with several compatible circuits operating at the same time.

This configuration is suitable for customers who need stronger load support but do not require the longer operating duration of a 30kWh or 60kWh home battery system.

Residential Solar Use and Backup Strategy

Daytime Solar Consumption Photovoltaic generation can supply compatible household loads while additional energy is used to charge the battery.
Evening Household Power Stored solar energy can support lighting, refrigeration, communication and selected sockets after solar production decreases.
Priority Circuit Backup Dual AC outputs help separate essential household circuits from flexible or higher-consumption loads.
Generator-Assisted Charging A compatible generator can provide an additional charging or supply source during long utility interruptions or periods of low solar production.

Villa Load Planning and Dual MPPT Solar Input

The system supports up to 9kW of photovoltaic input with one MPPT and up to 15kW when both MPPT channels are used. Separate tracking channels can be useful for solar panels installed on two suitable roof sections.

For residential backup, lighting, refrigerators, routers, security equipment and home-office devices can be placed on the priority output. Selected sockets and other flexible loads can be managed separately to preserve battery energy.

The 24kVA surge rating provides short-duration headroom for compatible motor-driven equipment. Air conditioners, water pumps and compressors must still be checked for running power, startup current and simultaneous operation.

Home System Sizing: The 12kW inverter determines the maximum continuous output, while the approximately 13.8kWh usable battery capacity determines expected backup duration. High-power loads will reduce operating time more quickly.
