Product Description

12kW 60kWh Residential Energy Storage System for Large Villas and Long Outages

Long-Duration Home Battery Backup for Larger Properties

This 12kW 60kWh residential energy storage system is designed for large villas, remote homes, residential estates and properties that require a larger battery reserve for extended power interruptions.

Four 15.36kWh battery modules provide 61.44kWh of rated storage and approximately 55.3kWh of usable energy at 90% depth of discharge. The 12kW pure sine wave inverter can supply selected household circuits after their continuous and startup power requirements have been assessed.

Unlike a smaller home battery designed mainly for short outages, this configuration focuses on longer operating time. It is suitable for households that need to maintain refrigeration, lighting, communication, security, home-office equipment and other priority loads for extended periods.

Residential Applications for a 60kWh Home Battery

Large Villa Backup Supports a planned group of essential household circuits during unstable utility supply and longer outages.
Home Office and Communication Loads Provides stored energy for computers, routers, communication devices, security systems and selected office equipment.
Remote Residential Properties Solar, battery, compatible utility input and generator support can be coordinated where grid availability is limited.
Longer Solar Self-Consumption Stored photovoltaic energy can support selected household loads after daytime solar production decreases.

Essential Load Planning for Extended Home Backup

The expected backup duration depends on the average household load. The 12kW rating represents the maximum combined continuous output, while the 55.3kWh usable battery capacity represents the available stored energy.

Dual AC outputs allow the installer to separate essential circuits from flexible loads. Lighting, refrigerators, internet equipment, gates, security systems and selected sockets can remain on the priority output, while higher-consumption appliances can be managed separately.

Air conditioners, pumps and other motor-driven equipment require additional assessment because their startup demand may be significantly higher than their normal operating power.

Backup Duration Note: A 60kWh battery does not guarantee a fixed number of backup hours. Actual duration depends on active loads, inverter efficiency, battery reserve settings, temperature and whether solar or generator power is available.

Dual MPPT Solar Charging and Generator Support

The solar charger supports up to 9kW of photovoltaic input with one MPPT configuration and up to 15kW when both MPPT channels are used. Separate channels can support suitable solar strings installed on different roof sections.

For a large battery bank, the solar array should be selected according to daily household consumption, local sunlight conditions and the required battery-recovery time. Utility charging or a compatible generator can provide additional energy during poor weather or prolonged outages.

  • Keep photovoltaic operating voltage within 60–450Vdc.
  • Keep maximum open-circuit voltage below 500Vdc.
  • Calculate cold-weather string voltage before installation.
  • Confirm generator voltage, frequency and available power.
Grid Use Notice: The system supports compatible utility charging, solar self-consumption and backup operation. This page does not claim electricity selling or power export to the grid.

60kWh Residential Energy Storage FAQ

Is a 60kWh home battery suitable for multi-day backup?

It can provide extended backup when household loads are carefully prioritized. Multi-day operation depends on average consumption and whether solar or generator charging is available.

Which household circuits should remain active during a long outage?

Most projects prioritize refrigeration, lighting, communication, security, water systems and essential home-office equipment before flexible appliances.

Is 15kW of solar input sufficient for a 60kWh battery?

Suitability depends on daily consumption, peak-sun hours and the required recharge time. The solar array should be calculated for the installation location.

Can the system operate air conditioners and water pumps?

Compatible equipment may be supported when its combined running and startup demand remains within the inverter limits.

Can generator charging be used during several days of poor weather?

Generator operation is supported. The generator must provide compatible voltage, frequency and enough capacity for the selected loads and charging settings.
