16.08kWh 51.2V 314Ah Rack Mount Battery LiFePO4 For Energy Storage
16.08kWh 51.2V 314Ah Rack Mounted LiFePO4 Battery for Energy Storage
This rack mounted LiFePO4 battery combines a 51.2V nominal voltage with 314Ah rated capacity. Its specification lists 16076Wh of nominal energy, providing a larger single-module storage option for compatible solar, backup and off-grid battery systems.
Instead of assembling the same storage capacity from several smaller rack batteries, system designers can use one higher-capacity module where the rack structure, inverter and DC protection design support its dimensions, weight and current requirements.
When a 10kWh Rack Battery Is Not Enough
A 16kWh-class rack battery may be considered when the project requires more energy per module but does not need a complete cabinet-based commercial storage system. It can reduce the number of individual battery enclosures required to reach a selected storage target.
More Energy in One Enclosure
The listed 16076Wh capacity provides more module-level storage than 5.12kWh, 10.24kWh and 14.336kWh rack battery options.
Fewer Battery Enclosures
A larger module can simplify the physical layout when the target capacity would otherwise require several smaller batteries.
Defined Rack Planning Data
Product dimensions, package dimensions and weight are documented so that rack design, handling and transportation can be reviewed before ordering.
One Larger Battery or Several Smaller Modules?
Using one larger rack battery may reduce the number of inter-module cables and individual enclosures. However, the selected rack must safely support the full 118kg module weight, and the installation team must have appropriate equipment for unloading and positioning it.
Several smaller batteries may be easier to handle individually, while a larger module may offer a cleaner layout. The better option depends on available rack space, access conditions, desired storage capacity, installation labor and future maintenance requirements.
This battery is not a complete energy storage system and does not include an integrated inverter. The compatible inverter, battery cables, DC protection and supporting rack must be selected separately.
Check the Mechanical Plan Before Delivery
The enclosure measures 745 × 440 × 240mm. Buyers should verify the usable internal dimensions of the rack rather than relying only on the nominal rack width. Rails, shelves, front clearance, rear cable space and connector access must all be considered.
The module weighs 118kg net. It should not be supported only by lightweight rack rails unless the structure is specifically designed for that load. A properly rated shelf or supporting frame may be required.
The packaged battery measures 840 × 520 × 430mm and weighs 138kg gross. Transport planning should include unloading equipment, doorway dimensions, internal access routes and the method used to lift the battery into its final rack position.
The IP20 enclosure is intended for a dry indoor technical area. It should be protected from rain, condensation, direct sunlight, excessive dust and nearby heat sources.

16.08kWh Rack Battery Selection FAQ
Why is the product described as 16.08kWh?
The specification lists 16076Wh of nominal energy. The 16.08kWh expression is a rounded value used for easier product searching and comparison.
Will the battery fit a standard 19-inch rack?
The 440mm enclosure width may suit some rack arrangements, but usable width, depth, support method, mounting points and cable clearance must be verified.
Can the module be installed by two people manually?
The battery weighs 118kg net. Suitable lifting equipment and a site-specific handling procedure should be prepared rather than relying on manual lifting alone.
Does the battery include a supporting rack?
The battery module and the supporting rack should be confirmed as separate order items unless the project quotation states otherwise.
Can the unit be used outdoors?
No outdoor claim should be made. Its IP20 enclosure requires a protected, dry and non-condensing indoor installation area.
Review the Rack Drawing Before Ordering
To review the physical installation, provide the rack drawing, load rating, internal dimensions, planned cable route, required storage capacity and site-access information.
