40.96kWh Stackable Home Battery Bank for Large Residential Solar Backup

A Larger Energy Reserve Built from Eight Battery Modules

This 40.96kWh stackable home battery bank combines eight 51.2V 100Ah LiFePO4 modules into a 51.2V 800Ah residential storage configuration. It is designed for larger homes, villas and residential solar projects that require more stored energy than a standard 5kWh, 10kWh or 20kWh battery bank.

The modular structure allows the total storage capacity to be assembled from eight defined 5.12kWh battery units. This gives installers clearer module-level handling, positioning and replacement planning than using one enclosure containing the complete battery-bank weight.

This product is the battery-storage section of a residential energy storage system. It does not contain a solar inverter. A compatible inverter, DC protection equipment, battery interconnection cables and installation accessories must be selected separately.

Why a 40.96kWh Home Battery Bank May Be Required

Larger Residential Energy Demand

The 40.96kWh nominal capacity can be considered when a household needs to support more circuits or target a longer backup period than a smaller battery bank can provide.

Eight Manageable Storage Modules

Each module provides 5.12kWh of nominal energy and weighs 45kg, allowing the complete bank to be transported and positioned one module at a time.

Residential Solar Energy Storage

A compatible solar system can store available energy for later household use according to the inverter charging strategy and battery operating settings.

Flexible Equipment-Room Arrangement

The modular design helps installers organize the battery bank, inverter and DC protection equipment within a dedicated indoor technical area.

Calculate Storage Capacity from the Household Load Schedule

A 40.96kWh home battery should be selected from the household’s actual energy demand. The project assessment should list the average power, startup demand and required operating hours of every circuit that needs backup support.

Priority loads may include lighting, refrigeration, communication equipment, security systems, entertainment equipment and selected household appliances. High-consumption loads such as electric heating, large air conditioners, water heaters and cooking equipment can reduce the available backup duration substantially.

Battery energy and inverter power describe different system functions. The 40.96kWh value represents nominal stored DC energy, while the inverter determines the available AC output power and which appliances can operate at the same time.

The complete nameplate capacity should not be treated as guaranteed energy delivered to household AC loads. Inverter conversion efficiency, selected discharge settings, operating temperature, cable losses and battery-protection limits affect the usable energy.

Installation Planning for Eight Stackable Modules

Each battery module measures 670 × 460 × 175mm and weighs 45kg net. The complete bank therefore requires space for eight modules, connection cables, DC protection equipment, inspection access and suitable ventilation clearance.

The supporting floor must be evaluated for the total installed weight. Battery modules should be positioned on a stable surface and protected against movement, impact or tipping according to the selected installation structure and local requirements.

The connected inverter must support a nominal 51.2V lithium battery and the complete 40.0–58.4Vdc operating range. Charging voltage, battery current and module interconnection requirements must be confirmed before installation.

The battery modules have an IP20 enclosure and require a dry indoor technical location protected from rain, condensation, direct sunlight, excessive dust and nearby heat sources.

40.96kWh Home Battery FAQ

Is this one 40.96kWh battery enclosure?

No. The battery bank consists of eight separate 5.12kWh modules that form one 40.96kWh residential storage configuration.

Can this battery bank support an entire house?

That depends on the inverter power, connected appliances, startup demand and required operating time. A household load calculation is required.

Does the system include a solar inverter?

No. The battery bank, inverter, cables and DC protection equipment are separate parts of the residential energy storage system.

How much indoor space should be prepared?

The installation area must accommodate eight modules, electrical connections, protection devices, ventilation clearance and service access.

Can the modules be installed outdoors?

No outdoor claim should be made. The IP20 modules require a dry and protected indoor installation environment.
