Product Description

5kW 24V Solar Inverter with 9kW MPPT Input and 9-Unit Parallel Support

Expandable Solar Inverter for Higher-Power Projects

This 5kW 24V solar inverter combines pure sine wave AC output, a 9kW MPPT solar charger, compatible AC input, battery charging and parallel expansion in one single-phase power platform.

The inverter provides 5kW of continuous output and 10kVA of short-duration surge power. It can be considered for lighting, refrigeration, computers, communication equipment, televisions, office devices and compatible motor-driven loads after their running and startup requirements have been checked.

Up to nine compatible inverter units can be configured in parallel for projects that require a larger power platform or future expansion. Parallel installation must follow the approved communication, wiring, protection and commissioning requirements.

Solar Input, Surge Capacity and Parallel Expansion

9kW Photovoltaic Input

The MPPT charger supports up to 9000W of photovoltaic input with a listed maximum PV input current of 27A.

10kVA Starting Headroom

Short-duration surge capacity provides additional starting headroom for compatible compressors, pumps and other motor-driven equipment.

Nine-Unit Parallel Capability

Compatible units can be combined for expandable projects when the complete parallel-system design follows the manufacturer’s requirements.

Flexible AC Voltage Options

The inverter supports 208, 220, 230 and 240Vac output settings for compatible single-phase electrical systems.

PV String and Load Planning

The photovoltaic array must operate within the 80–450Vdc MPPT voltage window. Total PV open-circuit voltage must remain below 500Vdc under all expected conditions, including the increase in panel voltage during colder weather.

The 27A photovoltaic input-current limit must also be considered when selecting panel quantity and string arrangement. The final design should be based on module voltage, current, temperature coefficient and local installation conditions.

The combined continuous AC load should remain within 5kW. The 10kVA surge specification is intended for short-duration starting demand and does not mean that the inverter can continuously supply 10kW.

Parallel projects require coordinated AC wiring, DC battery capacity, communication cables, protection devices and matching inverter settings. Parallel quantity should be selected according to the actual load schedule rather than the maximum supported number alone.

5kW Parallel Solar Inverter FAQ

Can the inverter continuously provide 10kW?

No. Continuous output is 5kW. The 10kVA specification represents short-duration surge capacity for compatible starting loads.

Can a 9kW photovoltaic array be connected?

The MPPT charger supports up to 9000W and 27A, provided the complete array remains within the 80–450Vdc operating range and 500Vdc open-circuit-voltage limit.

How many inverter units can be connected in parallel?

The formal specification lists support for up to nine compatible units. Final parallel quantity depends on the load design and approved installation method.

Can it start a pump or air conditioner?

Compatible equipment may be supported when its running power, startup demand and combined load remain within the inverter limits.

Is WiFi monitoring included as standard?

WiFi monitoring is listed as optional. The standard communication interfaces shown in the specification are LCD, RS485, RS232 and USB.

Expandable Solar Inverter Project Support
