Rack Mount 48V 100Ah LiFePO4 Battery / Home Energy Storage Battery
4.8kWh 48V Rack Mounted LiFePO4 Battery with 16-Unit Parallel Support
This rack mounted LiFePO4 battery provides 4.8kWh of nominal energy on a 48V, 100Ah platform. Its compact rack format is suitable for modular battery banks where installers need organized equipment placement and the option to increase storage capacity as project requirements grow.
The battery is supplied as the DC storage section of an energy system. A compatible external inverter or power-conversion unit is required to manage charging and supply AC loads.
Build a Scalable Rack Battery Bank
Each battery module provides 4.8kWh of nominal storage. The specification supports up to 16 units in parallel, allowing system capacity to be planned around the required daily energy use, backup period and future expansion target.
Parallel quantity should not be selected from battery capacity alone. The external inverter, protection equipment, cables, busbar arrangement and communication settings must also support the complete battery bank.
Match Battery Current with the Inverter
The standard charge and discharge current is 50A, while the listed maximum charge and discharge current is 100A. Actual operating current may be set lower according to the inverter rating, charging source and project operating strategy.
The documented charge cut-off voltage is 54.75V, and the discharge cut-off voltage is 39V. The selected inverter must support these battery limits together with the required current and protection settings.
Communication and Battery Management
CAN, RS485 and RS232 interfaces provide communication options for compatible inverter and monitoring equipment. The inverter model and supported battery protocol should be confirmed before ordering.
An address selector supports multi-battery identification, while the SOC indicator provides a convenient local battery-status reference. The smart BMS manages overcharge, overdischarge and overcurrent protection.
Rack Installation in a Protected Indoor Area
The battery measures 480 × 476 × 133.5mm and uses an iron enclosure. M8 positive and negative terminals are provided for the main battery connections.
Its IP20 protection level requires installation inside a dry indoor rack, cabinet or protected technical area. Adequate ventilation and access should be maintained for power cables, communication wiring and routine inspection.
The inverter, rack cabinet, solar equipment and external system protection are selected separately according to the project configuration.
